Our Topic:

The Kinaxis team will provide a view into real world application of machine learning in the retail industry.  They will provide an overview of the entire lifecycle of ML starting with a use-case, from date to the final ML solution that can be used in real-time considerations for speed and accuracy.  Along the way they'll share additional learnings from their client experiences.

Our Speakers:

Kanchana Padmanabhan is Director of Machine Learning Solutions at Kinaxis.  She defines Kinaxis' ML vision and oversees the delivery of ML products & features.  Kanchana earned her PhD in Data Science NC State University, and prior to Kinaxis she led data science teams at Meltwater Social (formerly Sysomos) and Rubikloud (acquired by Kinaxis).

Anneya Golob is Principal Data Scientist at Kinaxis.  She earned her PhD in Astrophysics from Saint Mary’s University and is interested in demand forecasting and optimization problems.  She also likes running, crocheting, and dogs.
