About the event

We need chat room volunteers (Tues, Nov 10, & Thurs, Nov 12) to be available to answer questions about careers in supply chain.  The event will run from 8am - 2:30pm both days, and we're looking for volunteers for 'shifts' throughout those time slots.  Or the full time, if you're up for it.  :)  Please register if you are interested in learning more.

#MissionTomorrow #InspireRVA Mission Tomorrow: Next Generation, in partnership with Junior Achievement of Central VA, is the Richmond region’s online interactive career exploration event for students.  This year's event will look a little different due to COVID-19, but our goal is the same: to expose the region’s eighth graders – over 12,000 of them! – to all the different types of careers at up to 170 local businesses in a fun, interactive way.  This year’s event will be held in a virtual format for two days -- November 10th and November 12th. Mission Tomorrow: Next Generation is still a forward-thinking career exploration fair that introduces RVA’s next generation of workers to careers in high-demand industries.  Eighth graders from all eight localities within the region (Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan and Richmond) will be participating. Eighth grade is such a critical year for students as they are deciding on coursework pathways for their high school years and beyond.

The event’s success hinges on the participation and enthusiasm of our region’s local businesses and organizations. So come on out and help shape the next generation of our workforce. The region’s vitality depends on its future workforce. Mission Tomorrow puts your industry and the skills required on the radar of tomorrow’s workforce. This fun event is designed to introduce the next generation of the local workforce to a variety of career opportunities available in the region through interactive engagement with the exhibitors.
